There are several award winning beaches in and around the area. The main beach stretches all the way from Earlsferry to Elie harbour. You can hunt for shells, soak up the sun, or just dig really deep holes....
Watersports - there's a whole lot of different watersports on offer at Elie Watersports http://www.eliewatersports.com/index.php. They also do mountain bike/all terrain bike hire which will let you explore all over the East Neuk of fife.
The chain walk at Kincraig point is not exactly a leisurely walk. make sure you check the time of the tides before attempting it.
There's a cold war Secret Bunker nearby that's worth a visit - if you can find it...
